Hello from Michel Poulain,
You will quickly understand that I am a fan of centenarians. I feel I find them everywhere, including when dreaming. Since 2000 when I met Antonio Todde (who lived to be 113) in Tiana, Sardinia, I have been on my Quest for the factors of longevity. As part of my research, I've tasted the wine of Sardinia, the goya in Okinawa, the red pepper pasta in South Korea… all alleged receipes to live longer!
My best friend, Gianni Pes, is also interested in longevity. We traveled all around Sardinia in order to identify the Sardinian Blue Zone. Gianni is also with us in Costa Rica and we are sure we will progress in our identification of the determinants of longevity.
All around the world I try to meet the oldest olds, to understand how they live and what their immediate environment is. And we'll do the same for this wonderful quest! So with Gianni, Dan and all others we will discover the Costa Rica Blue Zone and the secret of people's exceptional longevity.
Soon and Akent’annos (a Sardinian expression to wish you a healthy life up to 100).
Your Friend,
Michel Poulain
